Technicians and Trades Workers

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of service and maintenance works across residential, commercial, and government sites. Your days will be varied — from reactive breakdowns and fault finding, to preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor installations.
You’ll work closely with our friendly service team and may also provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior tradespeople, helping them develop solid skills and good habits on the tools.
• Attend service call-outs, diagnose electrical faults, and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and compliance-related tasks
• Carry out minor installations, replacements, and upgrades
• Provide clear communication and updates to clients, office staff, and the service coordinator
• Support apprentices with on-the-job learning, safety practices, and technical development
• Maintain accurate job records, photos, and digital documentation
• Represent NCE professionally, upholding our strong reputation for quality and reliability
• NT A-Grade Electrical Licence (or eligible interstate equivalent)
• Strong experience in service, repairs, and fault-finding work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Confident communicating with clients and providing friendly, honest service
• Enjoy supporting apprentices and sharing your knowledge
• Current driver’s licence, white card, and valid work rights
